Paint depth checked
Most cars, even new ones, carry fine swirls from automatic washes, dirty towels and dealer prep. Under sun or streetlights they show up as a web of scratches around every reflection, and they dull the paint.
Paint correction removes a microscopic layer of clear coat with a machine polisher to level those defects out. We measure paint depth first, then use as many stages as the paint needs and the clear coat safely allows.
It's the step that makes the biggest visual difference before a ceramic coating, because a coating locks in whatever finish is underneath it.
Ideal for
Swirls and haze are levelled out, so reflections look sharp instead of scratched.
Removing oxidation brings back the depth and richness of the original colour.
Paint that looks cared for makes a better first impression when it's time to sell.
Gives a ceramic coating a clean, corrected surface to lock in for years.
Cloudy, yellowed headlights are sanded back, machine polished until they're clear and sealed against UV so the yellowing doesn't come straight back. Both headlights, done at our Forest Lake studio on their own or added to any detail, correction or coating in the same visit.
All prices include GST. Listed prices are for a hatch; larger vehicles are priced at the quote, and every final price is confirmed after we inspect the vehicle.

Most swirls and light scratches, yes. Our Full Correction removes up to 90% of paint defects. Scratches that have gone through the clear coat can't be polished out, and we'll point those out before we start.
Yes. We take paint depth readings first and only remove as much clear coat as the job needs.
The defects we remove are gone for good, but new swirls come back with poor washing. Safe hand washing, and ideally a ceramic coating, keep the paint looking corrected for much longer.
Every coating package already includes a polish suited to the paint. If your paint has heavier defects, we'll recommend a 2 or 3-stage correction first.

From $499 for a 1-stage Enhancement, $799 for a 2-stage Correction and $999 for a 3-stage Full Correction, and headlight restoration from $99. The final price depends on the size of the car and the condition of the paint.
Yes, from $99. Headlight restoration sands back the oxidised layer, machine polishes the lens until it's clear and seals it against UV so the yellowing doesn't come straight back. We do both headlights in the same visit as any other service, or on their own.
Send us a few photos of the paint in the sun and we'll tell you which stage it needs.
